NORDEFCO provides the Nordic countries’ defence administrations and defence forces a platform for strategic level discussion, exchange of information, and military cooperation. The NORDEFCO secure communication system established in 2016 especially promotes this target. In addition to excellent cooperation at the ministerial and the military level, NORDEFCO also enjoys strong political and public support in all five Nordic countries. Furthermore, NORDEFCO is not only a platform for projects covering all the defence fields, but a platform to exchange information and for discussion on topics of common interest.
