A top Hungarian diplomat has blamed the West for trying to expand the war in Ukraine, following reports that the Biden administration has decided to allow Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied missile strikes inside Russia.
Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s foreign minister, posted on social media that ”the supporters of the war in Washington and Brussels have launched a final, desperate attack on the new reality,” warning of ”the extension of the war in Ukraine to the world.” […]
Writing on Facebook, a platform that is prohibited in Russia, Szijjártó said: ”With the victory of the peace party candidate in America and the advancement of patriotic forces, a new reality has been created in Europe.
”This new reality is based on the will of the people because they decided the elections. They decided to support the peace party, patriotic forces … politicians who have been voted out of power, neither in Washington nor in Brussels, refuse to take into account the will of the people.” Läs artikel
