Russia’s Northern Fleet is this week conducting several exercises in the Barents Sea. A part of the training is artillery shooting on targets at Rybachii, the Navy informs.
Cruiser Marshal Ustinov fired with its AK-130 artillery system and all targets were successfully hit, the official press notice claims.

Involved in the training were also a nuclear submarine, as well as frigate Admiral Kasatonov and anti-submarine vessel Yunga, Brest and Snezhnegorsk, Northern Fleet newspaper Na Strazhe Zapolyariya reports.
It is not unusual that the Northern Fleet engages in training on the Rybachii Peninsula. In September 2024, two Bastion complexes fired missiles from the peninsula as part of the Ocean-2024, last year’s major naval exercise. Läs artikel
