On 5 September, the Swedish government decided to allocate an additional SEK 500 million (almost €44 million) to support heat and power supply in Ukraine.
This was reported in a press release from the Swedish government.
The funds allocated by Sweden will be used to finance the installation of two gas turbines for electricity generation. The production facilities will be protected in a way that minimises the devastating effects of Russian attacks.
The project will be implemented by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency in cooperation with the Ukrainian side and international financial institutions. It is planned that the facility will be operational in 2025. Läs artikel
